Cowgirl Coding Camp

An Ongoing Program for Intermediate-School/Middle-School/Junior-High Girls. Classroom sessions, workshops, and Zoom Virtual Classroom sessions available.

The history of women in the west, and women who worked on cattle ranches in particular, is not as well documented as that of men. However, institutions such as the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame have made significant efforts in recent years to gather and document the contributions of women.

While urban women were serving more traditional female roles, women of the American West were roping and riding broncs.  Display your own courage and pioneering spirit by learning to code your own original web pages using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Also learning all about the American West and female pioneers, artists, writers, entertainers, humanitarians, business women, educators, ranchers and rodeo cowgirls. Make your own cowgirl superheros web site!

No prior experience required. More information will follow in Fall 2019.
